When one speaks of Gujarati folk music, one name rises with timeless resonance—Vishwa Kunchala. An artist, singer, and cultural ambassador, she has dedicated her life to preserving and elevating the essence of Lok Git, Bhajan, Sugam, and Kathiyawadi folk traditions across the world.

Born on 27th August 1986 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Vishwa’s journey in music began at an early age. Her exceptional talent soon found recognition when she emerged as the Winner of Excel Expressions and Youth Festival Competitions (2003–2004). By 2005–2006, she had already been honored as a B-Grade Certified Artist in Lok Git & Bhajan by Doordarshan and Akashvani—a testimony to her skill and authenticity.

Her artistry blossomed further as she lent her voice to the world of cinema, becoming a celebrated Playback Singer in over 50 Gujarati movies, including the award-winning performance for “Tara Rudiyani Rani Bole Bandhani” (2014–2015). With over 1,000 albums and 5,000+ songs to her credit, she is not just a singer but an institution of Gujarati folk music.

On stage, Vishwa is magic personified. Having performed in 2000+ live shows since 2004, her soulful renditions have transcended borders—mesmerizing audiences in Dubai, Muscat, London, and the USA. Wherever she sings, she carries Gujarat’s cultural heartbeat with her.
